Planning Deposit
A $50 planning deposit is required before I begin creating your personalized family vacation proposal. This deposit ensures I can dedicate focused time and expertise to researching the perfect options for your family's unique needs.
Step One: Consultation & Planning
1. Complimentary Initial Consultation (15-20 minutes)
We'll discuss your family's dream vacation, answer your questions, and make sure I understand exactly what you're looking for. This is where the magic begins!
2. Research & Proposal Creation (3-4 hours on average):
You’ll be sent your planning deposit invoice. Then I’ll craft a detailed proposal with 2-3 vacation detailed package options tailored and designed specifically for your family!

Analysis of ONE primary destination and my guidance based on your family's specific needs, preferences, budget and timeline.

How the Planning Deposit Works
If You Book Your Vacation with me:
Your $50 planning deposit is fully credited toward your vacation package cost. You are not paying anything extra for planning services - the deposit simply ensures my time is valued and you receive dedicated attention.
If You Choose Not to Book with me:
The $50 planning deposit is non-refundable and serves as compensation for the professional planning work completed (typically 4-6 hours of research and proposal creation).
Scope Limitations:
The planning deposit covers research for ONE proposal. Additional fees may apply for more than 2 guest rooms, for completely new travel dates requiring re-research (beyond minor adjustments), for significant changes to party size or travel parameters, or for more than 2 revision rounds.

Payment & Booking Terms
Planning Deposit Payment is due before I begin proposal creation. Payment link will be sent via TravelJoy booking system. Proposals will be delivered within 2-3 business days of deposit receipt.
Vacation Package Deposits are due at time of booking per supplier requirements (typically $200-500). They are separate from planning deposit and subject to supplier cancellation and modification policies.
Final Payment is due per supplier payment schedules (typically 45 days before travel for cruises, 30-45 days for other vacation packages)
Modifications & Changes After Booking: First postponement has complimentary rebooking assistance within supplier policies. Any change fees or fare differences charged by hotels, cruise lines, or suppliers are separate and client's responsibility.
If you need significant changes to your itinerary more than 60 days before travel (beyond included revisions), additional planning fees may apply depending on scope of changes required.
Cancellation Policy: Planning deposit is non-refundable. Vacation package refunds subject to supplier cancellation policies. I strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at time of booking.

Laina was more than helpful she was super nice and caring too. She eased so much of my anxiety by being knowledgeable and easy to communicate with.
